Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of her four siblings, was born on August 8, 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de Domme. Her parents a dental surgeon as well as a teacher recognized and supported her love of acting and theatre as early as she was a child. This superseded an initial desire to be a primatologist due to her fascination with monkeys. It was a quick rise in her career to become a famous young actor. After this film's success, Tautou appeared in a wide range of films that ranged from British dramas such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de fiancailles and moving into Hollywood under the direction of Ron Howard of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code together with Tom Hanks.
