Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is an Icelandic CrossFit pro-athlete. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is the only woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. Annie was second at the 2010, and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter and also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete, is also a celebrity journalist. She was the first woman to be awarded in the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. Winner at both the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017Annie has gained a lot of attention. Annie together with her the rest of her family, was birthed at Reykjavik Iceland. From a very young age, Annie was a huge sports enthusiast and was a fan of working out. She was awarded numerous medals at school events. Her first participation was time in 2009 in CrossFit Games held in California and did very well. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old of age (as at 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs around 67kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit when she was in California. She performed very well in the initial matches. She was among the in the top 10 among over 70. Even though she wasn't able to take home any titles however she was able to finish in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second and took home the silver medal same year. Due to her exceptional performances, she was able to win her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 brought her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was her second consecutive time she was able to win consecutively. In addition, she was awarded a medal of silver in 2014 as well as a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Presently, Annie works as a trainer and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's rising recognition as a professional athlete has seen her become the model for a variety of sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her self-titled Youtube Channel where training videos along with travel vlogs, family and training videos are uploaded.
